You are responsible for the maintenance and growth of a high profile government website. You coordinate and complete projects overseeing all aspects including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress. You assist in the development and implementation of content, and will be involved with integrating the work of content providers and designers to produce a final deliverable compatible with agency missions and standards. You have an excellent working knowledge of HTML coding, CSS, PDF and Adobe Photoshop. You are familiar with standard web concepts, practices, and procedures including accessibility/section 508 standards, blogging, and social marketing. You perform a variety of tasks where a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
You are a team player that has a minimum of 3 years customer-facing experience maintaining websites, you are a self-starter, detail-oriented, and you have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You might have worked on Federal government web projects in the past, and you rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN. You will be subject to a US government background investigation for public trust positions.
Your primary duty location is Washington, DC.

Clutch, Inc. is seeking a creative user interface specialist who possesses a great eye for user-centered design in addition to having strong hands-on development skills. The ideal candidate should be fluent in all things web-design, including mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS, development frameworks and cross-browser compatibility best practices.
Working alongside an application developer and a project manager, you will design information architecture schemas that support user-based tasks. You rapidly prototype wireframes and mockups, identify and solve usability challenges, and translate those ideas into complete, standards-compliant HTML/CSS pages for implementation.
This position is for on-site, full-time work in Winchester, VA. Telecommuting is not an option. This is a 3-month minimum contract with potential for longer engagement.
Note: A portfolio demonstrating a strong visual and conceptual design sense and a superior understanding of current coding practices, typography, color, and layout–screenshots and/or URLs will be required.
