Application Systems Analyst/Java Developer

Job Description:

Technical:
You are responsible for analyzing user requirements and converting them into system specifications and source code that can be implemented effectively. You have intimate knowledge of Java/J2EE software development, the Oracle RDBMS, and are able to write clean, elegant source code. You are familiar with web development best practices targeting multiple browser platforms, and can leverage appropriate software frameworks to expedite implementation. You are familiar with systems development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and industry best practices.
Experience:
You are a team player that has a minimum of 3 years customer-facing experience in Java software development, you are a self-starter, detail-oriented, and you have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You might have worked on Federal government integration projects in the past, and you might know a thing or two about enterprise telecommunications.
Security:
YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN. You will be subject to a US government background investigation, and must be eligible to hold a clearance at the Top Secret (TS) level. You do not necessarily have to hold a clearance to be considered for this position.
Location:
Your primary duty location is within a 30 mile radius of Winchester, VA. You don't mind occasional travel within a 60 mile radius.

Systems Administrator

Job Description:

Technical:
You are responsible for managing the ongoing configuration and administrative functions to support production, development, and staging systems. You have extensive experience managing both Linux and Windows Server operating systems, you have worked with enterprise backup solutions and tape libraries, and you know a little bit about the Oracle RDBMS. You don't mind fielding and troubleshooting level 2 support calls from other technical people. You can handle loading massive amounts of time-sensitive data from flat files into these systems once you've received proper instruction. You might know what an ISSO is, and you embrace government IT security policies and do your best to make sure your systems and users comply with them.
Experience:
You are a team player that has a minimum of 3 years customer-facing experience in systems administration, you are a self-starter, detail-oriented, and you have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You might have worked on Federal government systems administration projects in the past, and you might know a thing or two about enterprise telecommunications.

Systems Engineer/Project Manager

You are a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with extensive experience managing and working with a multi-functional technical team of developers, systems administrators, and other project management staff. You are intimately familiar with systems development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and industry best practices, and you know what FISMA compliance means. You are responsible for working closely with business process and software support teams to drive process automation and optimization through enhanced software capabilities, integration, and tightly coupled workflow. You have experience with automation solutions and business process re-engineering. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves and helping your team get through tough problems.

You are a team player that has a minimum of 5 years customer-facing experience in project management, you are a self-starter, detail-oriented, and you have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You might have worked on Federal government PMO projects in the past, and you might know a thing or two about enterprise telecommunications.

Project Coordinator/Web Content Specialist

Job Description:

Technical:
You are responsible for the maintenance and growth of a high profile government website. You coordinate and complete projects overseeing all aspects including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress. You assist in the development and implementation of content, and will be involved with integrating the work of content providers and designers to produce a final deliverable compatible with agency missions and standards. You have a working knowledge of HTML coding, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, and JavaScript. You are familiar with standard web concepts, practices, and procedures including accessibility/section 508 standards, blogs, chats, and social marketing. You perform a variety of tasks where a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Experience:
You are a team player that has a minimum of 3 years customer-facing experience maintaining websites, you are a self-starter, detail-oriented, and you have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You might have worked on Federal government web projects in the past, and you rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
