Embedded Systems & Firmware Development
Clutch has years of experience designing and developing various embedded systems prototypes—from 8-bit microcontrollers to FPGA’s and beyond. We like Atmel AVR and ARM Cortex M3 for general applications—you just can’t beat their bang for the buck. Whether you need high-level firmware in C/C++ or highly optimized assembly code for your time-critical interrupt service routines—we can help.
Electronic Prototyping
From initial concept to prototype creation—we have the capability to design and assemble complex surface-mount printed circuit board prototypes. We use Altium Designer and Autodesk Inventor for design entry and visualization, and our in-house capabilities include a pick and place machine, a reflow oven, and a bench full of test equipment—consider us armed and dangerous.
3D Printing & Fabrication
We’ve recently added a 3D Systems V-Flash modeler to our lab’s arsensal—allowing us to handle 3D rapid prototyping work with incredibly short turn-around times. Do you need a test widget or a prototype electronic enclosure without going through the hassle, time and expense of short-run injection molding or CNC machining? Send us an STL, Pro-E, Inventor, or SolidWorks model and we’ll take care of it.
